Springtime music for your springtime projects

Put some spring into your project’s step with royalty free music from these springtime albums

Springtime is here at last! The snows are melting, the flowers are blooming, joggers have taken back the sidewalks. People are cleaning out their houses and washing down their cars. And all those vlogs and podcasts are keeping suit, trying to fit the mood of the season. Whether it’s an ode to rainy days or an overture to sunshine fun, Smartsound Cloud has it all laid out for you.

With our online app, we’ve made it super easy to fully customize all our tracks to fit your project. Just add the one you like, slide to the length you want and let it do its thing. You can also change the mix, and automate it as well, and apply some voice ducking. Try it out for free! Just find any track that has a pink button that says “free”, and you’re welcome to use it on any of your projects, price free and royalty free, no catches.

Home Cooking

Springtime for me has a lot of jazz in it. And of course, there’s a lot of “spring” to jazz, too. Whether it’s for lifestyle, cooking, or shopping vlogs, there’s nothing that sounds more natural to me in spring than an upbeat swing. Our album HOME COOKING has just that, with 10 snappy numbers that feature a playful clarinet and violin. And the best part is that you can use every one of these tracks for free, you just need to sign up for an account.

Earthbound

I asked my colleague Flo which track he likes best for spring, and he told me EARTHBOUND. “I’m loving the variety of the album,” he says. “I have used that a lot as with just some little touches in the app it can fit lots of projects.” It’s got a lot of upbeat synth pop sounds with a kind of retro feel, and definitely has that more rainy day vibe to it with its bouncing arps, cosmic waves, laid back grooves, and echoing saxophones on the street at night during the rain.

Stock music album

Going back to that realm between rain and sun, we’ve got RETRO TECHNOLOGY, which is much more downbeat than the other albums here. It’s full of retro styles and classic synth sounds (read a blog of ours on the synth wave genre) that are inspired by the 80s and feature pulsating, glitchy rhythms and dark, driving arps. “Night Tech” is a great track for rainy night drives across a city and “Cyan Haze” really captures the rainy moments as well with its crackling vinyl sound and slow progressions.

Acoustic Weekend

Back to that upbeat, cheerful vibe, ACOUSTIC WEEKEND will have your audiences happy to meet the sun between the rainstorms. Focused on engaging guitar melodies and upbeat rhythms, it features inspirational tracks accompanied by bouncing basses, musing violins, and uplifting guitars. Maybe it’s those bouncing basses and the way they put a spring in my step that make me think of the season the most. Check out especially the whistling tune of “Zoo” and the contagious melody of “In Fine Weather”.

Short Days

Talk about an album that perfectly encapsulates spring. Our house composer Marc Rosenberger really nailed that vibe here, with its jazzy bass riffs and piano lines over crackling vinyl noises. It’s a lofi jazz that narrowly misses being dub, or maybe it is dub. It’s got a great and powerful vibe for rainy day sit downs at the coffee shop, drinking coffee until your soul gets all warmed up. Check out “Old Screen” for some a read bricked up, smooth track, or “Latest and Greatest”, which adds some funk in the mix making it an excellent choice for shopping and travel vlogs alike.

We hope you’ve enjoyed all the albums from this past year and find a couple more from our list of favorites this year! Remember, that all our tracks are fully customizable. You can change the length, mix, and variation to match it to your exact needs. Try out our app today and take advantage of our free tracks as well!
